The first 2017 Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid ( earlier post ) rolled off the line at the FCA US Windsor Assembly Plant (Ont.) The nearly 5,900 employees at Windsor Assembly are bringing more than 33 years of minivan production knowledge and expertise to the launch of the Pacifica Hybrid. on 1 December.

Chrysler’s Town & Country was one of the first minivan on the market when it arrived in 1989 as a spinoff of the original Dodge Caravan, and its mix of practicality and near-premium status did a lot to boost the segment.

One will be a PHEV version of the new Chrysler Town & Country minivan to be introduced in 2016; the second will be a PHEV version of a new full-size crossover vehicle to be introduced in 2017.
