In 2016, Geely Holding invested in Carbon Recycling International (CRI) which utilizes renewable energy and carbon capture to synthesize green e-methanol on an industrial scale. Green methanol is available now, methanol infrastructure can be built quickly at a minimal cost, and using green e-methanol can immediately reduce carbon emissions.

Available now in the latest Transit and Transit Custom models, the 2.0-liter liter TDCi engine, with CO 2 emissions from 157 g/km. liter engine.
