In addition to a recent electric car deal with NISSAN Motors ( NSANY ), Portland General Electric, the Oregon state governor and GE have also announced a joint venture with Mitsubishi Motors ( MMTOF.PK ) to develop and sell the Miev electric car with 85 mile range by 2011. By 2011 look for a larger THINK Ox.

Deliveries start in 2011. You guys go ahead and buy your 40 mile per charge GM golf cart. Wired Home Subscribe Sections Cars 2.0 Teslas new Model S will be pure EV and will get 160 miles per charge for $49,900 and for a bit more $$ you can get the 230 or 300 mile battery options. Oh, and it looks wayyyyy cooler than the Volt.
