Overall light-duty vehicle sales were essentially flat for the month, according to figures from Autodata, with 746,928 units sold in November 2009, compared to 746,789 units in November 2008. new vehicle market share, up from 2.2% in November 2008, but down slightly from 2.9% new light-duty vehicle market share.

The decline in hybrids was less than the 41% decline in the overall light-duty vehicle market for the month. of the new vehicle market, essentially flat with the January 2009 results. In February 2008, hybrids held 1.9% Monthly new vehicle market share for reported hybrids. New hybrid sales represented 2.3% to 4052 units.
