Haul or tow -- buy a Silverado. 80 miles was the range of the EV1 with Lead Acid batteries, that GM tried to use because they wanted the project to fail. You guys go ahead and buy your 40 mile per charge GM golf cart. it was the first batch of EV1s that they tried to use lead acid batteries and developed problems.
