It says the Volt is too little, too lateand too expensive to save the beleaguered automaker, and it recently chastised GM for pumping so much money into the Volt instead of developing more fuel-efficient gasoline cars. GM is developing more fuel-efficient vehicles. Thats short-sighted. It offers 18 models that deliver 30 mpg or more.

A new Rasmussen telephone poll found that 81% of Americans oppose an “ increase the tax on gasoline by a large amount ” as a way to encourage the purchase of more fuel-efficient cars.
