The company will be divided into Chevrolet, Cadillac, GMC and Buick following the decision to close Pontiac and sell Saturn. Speaking in 2008, Stephens said the Vue two-mode hybrid would deliver around a 50 per cent increase in combined fuel economy compared to the non-hybrid Vue XR.

GM has announced plans for public sales in 2010, and almost every carmaker now says it will sell PHEVs or highway-speed battery electric vehicles (BEVs) sometime after 2010. In late 2008, BYD started selling the first production PHEV in China. Batteries not ready. First Escape PHEV delivered to SCE Nov 2007; 20 in 2008-2009.

They only have that many models because they use the same chassis and drivetrain to build 3 different cars, one branded as a Chevy, the next a Pontiac, then a Saturn, etc. Toyota Prius modders have already been adding larger batteries so the vehicle can run on battery power. Way to go morons.
