Some examples of badge engineering worked out very well for both manufacturers involved, with the Mitsubishi-Chrysler partnership that gave North American car shoppers close to a quarter-century of Colts near the top of that list. GM had a good run with various Geo-badged Suzukis, Isuzus and Toyotas , too.

Daimler/Mercedes Took over Daimler/Chrysler Sprinter PHEV program. Plans Saturn Vue PHEV-10. Aims to get Saturn Vue on road in 2010; no production goal. Showed BlueZERO E-CELL PLUS series PHEV concept in December 08. Plans Cadillac Converj, Opel Ampera, other versions. Plans "large demonstration fleet" late 2009.
