EcoBoost system arrives with new Ford Edge

The Chicago Auto Show will mark the first application of Ford’s global 2.0litre EcoBoost I-4 engine as part of the refreshed 2011 Ford Edge line-up. Thanks to the use of the EcoBoost system, fuel economy for the new Ford Edge is 30 per cent better than it was when the vehicle was launched in 2006.

Mercedes-Benz hybrid bus to make world debut

A total of 36 buses equipped with fuel cell drivers have already performed well in service with 12 public transport operators as part of the CUTE test carried out by the European Union from 2003 to 2006. From autumn, Mercedes Benz Buses will put the bus through testing in a large scale fleet across several European cities.
