Then consider that in order to actually go any farther than the neighbood store, one still had to have ANOTHER car. I had surmised this in my 2002 car design thesis [link] even before anyone was talking about plug in series hybrids. run the hardware store and buy a new one. They make them all wrong. but even that is wrong.
