The Think City was short-lived in the States with production halting in 2002 after just 1005 cars had been assembled. They are either glorified golf cart city cars like this one or they are only for the very wealthy like the Tesla. Toyota still has not made any money on the Prius. safety requirements.

GM will leapfrog Toyota and Honda by providing an electric car to the masses by the end of next year. It offers 18 models that deliver 30 mpg or more. You would be much better served doing a little investigative journalism (no offense intended) to determine the percentage of cars sold that get 30 mpg or better.
