When most of America will be reluctant to buy a GM car because the company might go bankrupt how the hell did those in charge think bailing them out was a good idea? I had surmised this in my 2002 car design thesis [link] even before anyone was talking about plug in series hybrids. This is true, irrespective of the merits of the Volt.
