Audi and Deutsche Telekom are entering into a 5G technology partnership together with the city of Ingolstadt. As well as Audi, other industrial companies will be able to use the local 5G infrastructure. Audi Electronics Venture GmbH (AEV) has been developing new technologies for the automobiles of the Audi brand since October 2001.

Audi Electronic Venture GmbH ( AEV ), a fully owned Audi subsidiary, is holding the second Audi Autonomous Driving Cup from 22-24 March 2016. Eight university teams will take part in the competition at the Audi museum mobile in Ingolstadt. Our engineers at Audi likewise use the ADTF development environment.

The new Audi R18 e-tron quattro diesel hybrid ( earlier post ) will start the 80 th running of Le Mans from grid position one. Le Mans record winner Tom Kristensen in the number “2” Audi R18 e-tron quattro set the fourth-fastest lap (3m 25.433s) behind the quickest hybrid vehicle from Toyota. But this is just a very small step.

Through its subsidiary Audi Electronics Venture GmbH (AEV), Audi has acquired a stake in the Irish mobile‑telephony provider, Cubic Telecom, a global forerunner in machine-to-machine (M2M) technology. Together, Audi and Cubic Telecom intend to develop connectivity solutions for the automobiles of the Audi brand.
