For the 1980s, GM created the X-Cars , Ford offered Fox sedans and American Motors had the Concord. My personal K-Car experience hasn't been as positive. I recall angrily futzing with video codecs in order to watch the file I'd laboriously downloaded of this spoof Aries commercial, circa 2000.

An early adopter Sinclair’s first venture into the world of clean energy vehicles came in the early 2000’s when she and her husband purchased a Ford Escape Hybrid, a car they still own today. Mothers are driving the kids, the dog, and lots of stuff around town and there haven’t been a lot of electric minivans.

The 2025 Volkswagen ID.Buzz electric minivan has been coming to North America for a long, long time. Ford, Hyundai, Kia, and GM will all launch vehicles into that segment over the next couple of years. On the other hand, it’s a minivan with sliding side doors. Now we know VW will join them.
