TDI is raised to 2000 bar, helping increase the power output and reduce emissions. Are these sales incentivized?

At IAA Commercial Vehicles, Allison Transmission announced that it will offer its medium-duty, fully automatic 9-speed transmission globally, and that it has developed an electric hybrid system with purely electric extended range. The regenerative braking capability can extend the brake change interval by up to 350%.

In Eco (economy) the motor output is limited to about 45bhp reducing the current flow from the batteries and extending range. Driving the i-MiEV is as simple as putting your foot on the brake, popping the shift into drive or economy, then pressing the accelerator. The cars are also being fleet tested in Japan.
