Mr. Thesen said that a factory in Turkey was being refurbished to be able to produce 100,000 electric vehicles a year. The reason the funding was dropped is not clear, but the challenge facing Europe’s big power generators is obvious ? We have no known Lithium deposits that could sustain domestic battery production.
