Audi is re-introducing a plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV) to its Australian line-up from mid-2023 in the form of the Q5 55 TFSI e luxury medium SUV. litre four-cylinder turbo-petrol engine mated with a 105kW/350Nm electric motor integrated into the seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission for a combined output of 270kW and 500Nm.

BMW M cars – they’re coming with hybrid drivetrains. And if we’re guessing, we reckon it could be called the Ranger Lightning (see above). Jeep BEV – an all-electric Jeep is confirmed for 2023 and it’s likely to be something smaller and city focused. Soon, apparently.
