Bounce Infinity, an electric scooter and removable battery company, has raised $20 million from existing investors, including Sequoia. They said the deal would provide the startup with a significant cash runway while discussing an external round or strategic sale. However, it denied consideration of direct sales.

Datsun is now the third brand for the Nissan Motor Company along with the Nissan and Infiniti brands. Datsun GO will be the first of several Datsun models that will be launched later in 2014 in Indonesia, Russia and South Africa. More information will be available closer to the start of sales. Major milestones so far in 2015 include: Groundbreaking for a jointly-owned assembly plant in Aguascalientes, Mexico: Nissan and Daimler recently broke ground on the US$1-billion Aguascalientes plant, which will produce next-generation premium compact vehicles for Infiniti from 2017, and Mercedes-Benz starting in 2018.
