The electric Infiniti has been “postponed,” and BMW is entering the market with a car that doesn’t challenge Tesla. Plug-in vehicle sales are indeed increasing, with the LEAF and Volt each selling about 2500 units in June 2013. Automakers continue to only offer sub-100 mile range vehicles.
