Development of this lithium-ion battery was inspired by technologies that have already proven themselves under the conditions in the Mercedes-AMG Petronas F1 team's Formula 1 hybrid racing cars. Slight pressure on the accelerator pedal is all it takes to set the AMG Performance hybrid in motion.
