The shock news was confirmed to EV Central at this month’s 2024 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 HD launch by Jess Bala, Managing Director of Chevrolet’s local outpost GM Australia and New Zealand. Cadillac is making a comeback to Australia as an EV only brand, starting with the Lyriq mid-sized electric SUV around the middle of 2024. The Lyriq is expected to be priced from about $150,000, putting in rarefied EV air against the likes of the Mercedes-Benz EQE SUV , BMW iX and Audi Q8 e-tron. 2025 Cadillac Escalade IQ.
