It ispleasingly quick but will still only manage 150 miles between charges, muchless than a tank of petrol, even if it costs only £1.50 The electric Mini is unlikely to go into production in its present form. Only when we have an efficient method of electricity storage will the electric car/van/bus become a viable proposition.
