Better Place, Sheraton Waikiki and Hawaiian Electric Partner on EV Charge Network in Hawaii

Better Place has started its initial deployment of EV infrastructure in Hawaii, with the launch of a project to incorporate its electric-vehicle infrastructure in Honolulu, in partnership with Kyo-ya Hotels & Resorts’ Sheraton Waikiki Resort and Hawaiian Electric Company. Kyo-ya will operate two of the electric vehicles.

Top 15 Nissan LEAF markets in US in 2013

Nissan provided a list of the top 15 markets in the US for the Nissan LEAF battery-electric vehicle. Another three are on the West Coast and in Hawaii: Seattle (4), Portland (5), and Honolulu (6). Honolulu, with 26 quick chargers, has one of densest charging grids in the US. Top 15 LEAF market year-to-date in 2013.

US Hybrid awarded contract to deliver plug-in fuel cell shuttle bus to Hawaii County Mass Transit Agency
