I have driven several Chevrolet and GMC vehicles with the wonderful Duramax turbodiesel engine, so expectations were high for a luxury week behind the wheel. Fuel economy for the 3.0L But on a 180-mile all-freeway run with the adaptive cruise control set at 65 mph, we got an impressive 28.8 It did not disappoint.

The EPA rated the Santa Cruz’ fuel economy at 19 mpg city/27 highway/22 combined. We did a bit better on a 120-mile freeway run with the adaptive cruise control set at 65 mph, achieving 28.1 Selecting the Sport mode for that extra oomph helped turn 0-60 mph in about 6.3 The light show. Everything but the knobs.
