Valencia was confirmed in 2009 as the European single source for all versions of the all-new Ford C-MAX and Grand C-MAX which launch later this year, and which feature a range of new Ford EcoBoost gasoline and Duratorq TDCi diesel engines. The exact amount of this support will be determined at a later date.

Where the markets develop, we can react very quickly and introduced a BEV, or plug-in, or diesel, or EcoBoost fairly rapidly. Specifically on the BEV side, Ford has announced two vehicles: the electric Transit Connect light commercial van in 2010, and the battery electric Focus in 2011 (using new styling and with a new model).
