EPA announces availability of $26M for projects to reduce diesel emissions from existing fleet

EPA is soliciting proposals nationwide for projects that significantly reduce diesel emissions and exposure, especially from fleets operating in areas designated as having poor air quality. Grant funds may be used for clean diesel projects that use: EPA-verified retrofit technologies or certified engine configurations.
