Secondly, this data is required for the on-board diagnosis of the exhaust-gas aftertreatment function. The component is manufactured at the Frenstat location (Czech Republic).

Pierburg GmbH, a member of the KSPG Group, has been awarded contracts worth a lifetime total of €250 million (US$342 million) for a newly developed compact exhaust-gas recirculation valve. Tenneco is leveraging its expertise in diesel particulate filter (DPF) technology to develop gasoline particulate filters for 2017 model year light vehicles. Diesel particulate filters for original equipment applications remove particulate matter from engine exhaust gases in a closed system.
