Five months after it revealed both the Altroz CNG along with Punch CNG compact SUV at the Auto Expo 2023, Tata Motors launched the Altroz CNG on May 22 at Rs 755,000. In comparison, its direct rivals – Maruti Suzuki Baleno CNG and Toyota Glanza CNG – produce a similar 77hp but a lesser 98.5Nm of torque in their CNG modes.

The crash test facility was put up in 2004 – and off late, TML is taking the crash business very seriously – making safer cars – that have started denting Suzuki’s relatively light and fuel efficient cars. Light at 1200 W per sq m is put on the vehicle. We did see a dented Nexon EV in the facility.
