Since I was attending the Detroit Auto Show, I could replicate my UK trip for comparison. My goal was to head north to Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, then west to Fargo, ND, and back to Detroit via Iowa. Instead, I drove to Cleveland and then back westward to the center of Iowa, where I visited a relative.
