The all-new GS 450h hybrid is expected to be rated at 29 mpg city, 34 mpg highway, for a combined rating of 31 mpg. In comparison, the 2012 Infiniti M35h hybrid sport sedan, also a mid-size entry, is rated at 27 mpg, 32.

That, Ford points out, is more power and better highway fuel economy than the V-8 engine found in the 2009 Lexus GS460 (24 mpg) or the 2009 Infiniti M45 (21 mpg).
