Porsche 914 EV Conversion

Many things have passed through my mind over the past year and a half while converting this vehicle. If I had to do it again, I would definitely send it out for rebuilding by someone else or just purchase a newly refurbished 914 transmission. The CCPower C400 DC/DC converter kept dying on me. The old one sold nicely.

It has been about 5 months since I posted my first blog about converting my car to electricity. Winter 2011-2012: Engine Bay and Under-car: The car is now completely gas-less. The air conditioning evaporator is now able to be converted to my cold water heat exchanger. I am not building a dragster. Very good prices.

In 2007 they sold 260 vehicles worth approximately £26 million and were expanding their capacity in the UK to be able to convert 3,000 vehicles in 2008. Valence is trying to persuade OEMs to consider vehicles with a maximum range of 30-40 miles which would still cover the majority of commutes while minimizing battery investment.
