Fisker receives huge funding boost

The US Department of Energy has awarded the California based manufacturer a conditional loan of $528.7million for the development of two lines of plug-in hybrids – the Karma and the new Project Nina vehicle. The idea is said to be inspired by Christopher Columbus and is symbolic of the automotive industry’s move from the old world to the new.
