Fisker receives huge funding boost

The US Department of Energy has awarded the California based manufacturer a conditional loan of $528.7million for the development of two lines of plug-in hybrids – the Karma and the new Project Nina vehicle. The cash will also be used to assist engineers as they design tools and equipment and develop manufacturing processes.
