Hydrogen could theoretically be generated by electrolysis of water, powered by clean energy. The FCEV does have similar horsepower to the Kenworth and about 100 more horsepower than the Volvo and Daimler, but it has a much smaller battery that it’s pulling that power from. But all of that is a long way off.
