Emissions from international transport (aviation and shipping) contribute another 3% to the total global GHG emissions. Also in Eurasia emissions grew in Turkey (5%) and Ukraine (8%). Emissions are increasing in other developing countries: 6% for Indonesia and Malaysia; 9% for Pakistan and 12% for the Philippines.

The shift to electric mobility is in line with ongoing efforts to reduce the world’s dependence on fossil fuels, and reduce harmful greenhouse gas emissions responsible for climate change.
