US DOE Awards $300 Million in Clean Cities Grants to Support Alternative Fuels, Vehicles, and Infrastructure Development

Like the Recovery Act-funded projects, the annual Clean Cities projects include grants for vehicles, infrastructure, and education. Selected projects, by size of award, are: State of Wisconsin’s Wisconsin Clean Transportation Program. Total DOE award: $14,997,240.

DOE dishes out $300million in grants

The funding comes on the back of the DOE’s announcement that it had selected 23 projects for up to $15million in annual appropriations funding with the Clean Cities project including grants for vehicles, education and infrastructure.
