Daimler/Mercedes Took over Daimler/Chrysler Sprinter PHEV program. Persu Mobility (formerly VentureOne) 3-wheel Persu Hybrid PHEV-20 in development. GMs program relies on lithium-ion battery technology that Gioia called "cost, weight and package prohibitive." Company says its focusing on gasoline and hydrogen.
