One thing is for sure; - electric cars bring down the air pollution, but they sure create another waste pollution problem. Several global indicators on the supply of oil and the known carbon pollution environmental damages its caused all lead us to find cleaner ways of transportation. The electricity for recharging has to come from somewhere, which means power plants. Then I recall that my laptop batteries barely ever last four years.
