Chevron owns the NiMH patents and have not allowed EV size batts to be built. How will the pressures of climate change, limited fossil fuel resources and the mainstreaming of "green" consciousness reshape society? Li though have many different types, weigh less and more power. Now add much cheaper materials and NiMH is now obsolete.
