The MiEV runs on a lithium-ion battery pack that can be charged in seven or so hours on a 240-volt line. Today we could be using lead-acid EVs, lead-carbon-acid EVs, or nickel metal hydride or lithium-ion hybrids. Id like to be a fly on the wall when an H2 franchisee asks to put in a hydrogen pump at Chevron.
