Porsche 914 EV Conversion

The 914 doesn't run well at all when its cold and after going to the DEQ, I realized that I'm going to need a lot of work to get the car to pass emissions (it's a rather gross polluter right now). Maybe I'll take a day off to go to A & P as well as Farwest Golf Carts to pick up some old 8V golf cart batteries for desulfation testing.

Lithium iron phosphate batteries are green, non-toxic, non-polluting, raw materials from a wide range of sources, and cheap. Light electric vehicles: electric bicycles, golf carts, electric wheelchairs, etc. Lithium iron phosphate batteries have a large capacity. Lithium iron phosphate battery has no memory effect.

Furthermore, changing the battery pack on say a Toyota Prius often costs a fortune, at least in most European countries, so such cars better be VERY cheap, but they’re not. One thing is for sure; - electric cars bring down the air pollution, but they sure create another waste pollution problem. — Jared 9.
