Air pollutant emission 2010 limits exceeded in twelve EU Member States; road transport NOx a main factor

Preliminary analysis shows eleven Member States exceeding their respective NO x ceilings (Austria, Belgium, Denmark, France, Germany, Ireland, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Spain and Sweden). The pollutant for which most exceedances were registered was NO x.
