The same was true for price, in the first three countries, but the French were much less likely to be willing to buy a “clean” car if it was more expensive. The highest level of support for such schemes existed in Luxembourg (71%), Italy (68%), the Netherlands (64%), Cyprus (61%) and Belgium (60%).
