Additionally, the campaign has gained more than 8,000 “soft” fleet orders for these vehicles when they are available. The Austin Independent School District has agreed to purchase one of the buses.

AESC will market its laminated compact lithium-ion batteries to automotive manufacturers around the world for use in electric-powered vehicles (hybrid, plug-in hybrid, and electric vehicles). Deployment of infrastructure, including charging stations and incentives for zero-emissions vehicle purchases, are being studied.
