Colorado Gov. John Hickenlooper released of the Colorado Electric Vehicle (EV) Plan , delivering on a directive set forth in the July 2017 Executive Order, “Supporting Colorado’s Clean Energy Transition.” The plan details a series of actions supporting EV infrastructure along Colorado’s corridors.

After Colorado jumped on board California's Zero Emissions ship in January, automakers apparently weren't happy. According to a Reuters report, the Alliance of Automobile Manufacturers, a lobbying group for the auto industry, met with Colorado Governor Jared Polis last month to lobby him to adopt a voluntary EV program instead.

Chevrolet truck sales increased 27%, led by increases by Silverado, Suburban, Avalanche, Colorado, HHR and Equinox. Hybrids had an especially good month, with reported sales jumping 31.8% year-on-year to 35,429 units, representing a 3.55% new vehicle sales market share for the month—the highest monthly share yet.
