Conversion to dual overhead cam with dual cam phasing: as applied to overhead valves designed to increase the air flow with more than two valves per cylinder and reduce pumping losses. Turbocharging and downsizing (TRBDS): increases the available airflow and specific power level, allowing a reduced engine size while maintaining performance.
