Mazda has added another SUV to their lineup. This past week in Santa Barbara, Mazda invited the automotive media to drive the CX-50 on the highway, twisty mountain roads and then off-road to experience soft sand, steep climbs and descents. Mazda adds another SUV. All Mazda SUVs will now come only with all-wheel drive (AWD).

If you order the performance exhaust or go for the Z51 package, those numbers go up to 495 and 470. The front-wheel drive Mazda MX-5 Miata and Hyundai Veloster R-Spec are wonderful, handle great and are zippy, but are not in the same conversation with the much larger, rear-wheel drive, more powerful and heavier Corvette Stingray.
