Australia doesn’t have its own fuel efficiency standards, making it one of only two advanced countries without such a rule, alongside Russia. While both of these numbers are a lot less than the US’ new EPA rules , the US also has 13x as many people as Australia. If that sounds familiar, it’s because it is.
