In North America, the EX30 is small enough that four full-size American adults will find it too tight for more than short trips. The twin-motor version felt somewhat faster as standard, but dropping it into Performance mode (an inconspicuous tap button buried in a vehicle menu on the center screen) turned it into a rocket.
