Baker mentioned he purchased out his father, the overdue Bob Baker, over 10 years, excluding a couple of shops his father had offered one after the other. Bob Baker, who died in 2021 simply shy of his ninetieth birthday, purchased his first dealership in 1965 in Indiana. AutoNation bought 4 Colorado shops in December.
